The corporate website is a company’s most important channel of sustainability communications. It can directly influence decisions made by investors and ESG analysts; determine whether or not great talent joins a company and can determine how NGOs and governments perceive an organisation’s contribution to society as a whole. Customers and suppliers can also check the sustainability profile online before they do business with a company.
This report explores how well companies are using their corporate websites to tell their sustainability stories to diverse stakeholder groups, and the trends that we are seeing. We have analysed the entire FTSE100, and a sample group of 25 FTSE250 companies.
