Throughout our partnership with CCHBC, we have produced award-winning work every year that has gone beyond the established boundaries for best practice.

 

Remaining resilient and driving innovation

The key objective of this year’s Integrated Annual Report (IAR) was to demonstrate that, despite the challenges of 2020, CCHBC remained resilient through their communications strategy.

We carried out in-depth audit of current communications and a benchmarking of best practice across FTSE100, as well as a detailed reporting opportunities and creative exploration for each section.

 

Enhancing consistent reporting

The structure of the IAR remained relatively consistent with 2019 – given the launch of the strategy in the previous report, this year it was important to report back through the dedicated Growth Pillar sections. A lot of time was spent enhancing key content areas to ensure they are as effective as possible – such as the at-a-glance, stakeholder engagement, TCFD, the introduction of SASB as well as a new Applied Governance section.

Showcasing CCHBC's resilience

The theme for the 2020 IAR Adapt to Win, describes CCHBC’s operational agility throughout the challenges of the past year. We presented four dynamic hero spreads in the beginning of the report to showcase how CCHBC have adapted operations for their stakeholders and accelerated their digital innovation.

 

Integrating a core sustainability strategy

Coca-Cola HBC’s commitment to sustainability is at the core of their strategy and business, so needed to be integrated throughout their IAR. We incorporated infographics to showcase their transparent contribution to the socio-economic development of their communities, while highlighting their efforts towards sustainable operations.

It was important for the creative application to be carried consistently across their channels. The Online Annual Report mirrors the Integrated Annual report with the use of bold colours and engaging photography. 

The result of this 2020 Annual Reporting suite has provided an engaging and impactful representation of the business during 2020. CCHBC’s journey has been clearly articulated in a visual and engaging format, presenting their theme of Adapt to Win throughout both the Online and Integrated reports.
